Leisure craft, including the motor yacht Regardless (1929), are at moorings while some boats, including the motor yacht Jabel (fl. 1932), are on raised stages. On the quayside outside Lew Hewes Outboard Motors premises is the racing hydroplane Miss Helen (fl. 1932) which has the racing number F14 and the port number 18H31 on her hull. A sign on the roof of Hewes' building is advertising Johnson Outboard Motors. In the background are signs for Amoco, Reid's and The General Tire and the Villa D'Este Hotel is to the left of centre.
