Two Italian Navy Navigatori class (1928-1930) destroyers berthed in tandem alongside the north quay in Port Hercule at Monaco. The photographer is on the elevated road above the north quay looking west-by-south towards the west quay. The two destroyers are seen from above the port bow and are dressed overall. Luxury motor cars are on the north promenade. Hotels in the La Condamine district front the harbour with, from left to right, the Beau Sejour Hotel, Monegasque Hote, Bristol Hotel and Majestic Hotel.
