A distant view of two passenger cruise ships anchored off North Cape, Norway.

A distant view of two passenger cruise ships anchored to the south east of North Cape, Norway. The photographer is looking east-south-east from high ground above a large patch of snow showing, on the left and seen from well abaft her starboard beam, a Cunard Line ship, either the Franconia (1923) or the Carinthia (1925). The ship is in an all white livery. On the right and seen from fine off her port quarter is a Canadian Pacific Steamships vessel of the Mont class, either the Montcalm (1921) or the Montclare (1922) or the Montrose (1922).
