Shipping in the old harbour at Palma, Majorca. A steam hopper barge, schooners and the steam coaster Union (1878) are berthed abreast on the left and a large number of leisure craft are on the right. Small boats are drawn up on the foreshore in the centre of the picture and a steam roller is on the road in front of the Sant Pere Bastion. The church of Santa Creu is in the right background.
