A roll film negative showing a deck view of the the tug St Canute (1931), looking aft. The image is taken from the superstructure showing a white wooden lifeboat held by two metal terracotta coloured davits on the ship's port side. Part of the ship's funnel is visible as well as two ventilation cowels, one tall then the other, set aft of the funnel. ML 293 (1941) is visible moored behind St Canute alongside the quayside. Moored alongside the quay on ML 293's port side is a Royal Air Force launch boat. A fishing vessel is moored aft of ML 293. A building can be seen in the backgrund on the quayside behind ML 293.
