A roll film negative showing a port side view of the forward third of a Royal Air Force launch vessel moored in the canal at the Exeter Maritime Museum with the motor launch ML 293 (1941) inboard along the quay. The bottom of the hull is painted blue with the rest painted light grey. An RAF roundel is present on the bow. The superstructure of the launuch is painted white and an orange life preserver is attached halfway along the vessel. Part of the superstructure is covered with a canopy. An array of houses can be seen in the background on the left hand side of the image.
