Quayside stern view of the Polish barquentine training ship ORP Iskra (1982) moored on the River Tyne during the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race 1993. The name 'ISKRA' along the Polish coat of arms is present on the vessel's stern. The white and red Polish naval ensign hangs from a staff on the stern. The ship is dressed overall with flags. Two Polish Sea Cadets are standing on the superstructure next to a boarding ramp that connects to the quayside. A partial view of an inflatable tender can be seen moored on the starboard side of Iskra. Moored on the starboard side of the tender is a yacht with the number 'A958' painted on the stern. A variety of buildings can be seen on the opposite bank in the background.
