A Motuan dancing display put on the for the benefit of tourists in a large open field at Port Moresby, New Guinea. The Motuans are in three groups and each group has its own following of tourists. The dancers are in their national costume. The Cunard Line passenger cruise ship Franconia (1923) is at anchor offshore. She is in all white livery and is on a world cruise. The negative has a limited depth of field.
