Looking over the rooftops of central Punta Arenas, Chile. The photographer is on a hilltop, possibly the Cerro Mirador, looking east-south-east towards Reloncavi Sound. On the left is the tower of the Sacred Heart Cathedral (Spanish: Catedral del Sagrado Corazón) with two tall lattice steel radio masts beyond it on the waterfront. A pier with cranes is on the right. Anchored out in the sound and seen from off her port bow is the Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) dressed overall.
