A ship and boat repair yard in the south-east corner of Mandraki harbour at Rhodes. The photographer is looking north-north-west from the south-east corner of the harbour showing a number of different types of wooden craft high and dry on repair slips or drawn up on shore. The vessels include a large caique and a 2-masted auxiliary schooner. A line of caiques is berthed against the east wall of the harbour.
