A bow view, taken from fine off the starboard bow, of an Orient line motor lifeboat under way entering Mandraki harbour at Rhodes. Limestone pillars are on the end of each breakwater. On top of the west pillar is a statue of a stag and on top of the east pillar is a statue of the Roman she-wolf suckling Romulus and Remus.
