Gustavia Harbour and the coastline on the west coast of Saint Barthelemy, West Indies.
Gustavia harbour and the coastline on the west coast of Saint Barthelemy, West Indies. The photographer is looking north-west from a slightly elevated position above the south-east corner of the harbour. Two 2-masted schooners and four single-masted sailing vessels are at anchor in the harbour. The Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925), seen from wide off her port bow, is at anchor offshore and she is in all-white livery. The Ilet Colombier is just off the north-west headland and the island of Saint-Martin is in the distance.
