Diving boys in their rowing boats alongside the Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) at Castries harbour, St. Lucia, West Indies. The photographer is on board one of the Kungsholm's motor tenders looking aft at twelve rowing boats, some of which have a large flat board projecting forward from the bow. The nearest boat has the Castries number C33 and is named Fortune. Another boat is named Daily Bread. The boys are waiting to dive in to retrieve coins thrown down by passengers on board the cruise ship. The ship's motor tender No. 1 is in the background.
