Buildings on the Vigie Peninsula at Castries, St. Lucia, West Indies.
Buildings on the Vigie Peninsula at Castries, St. Lucia, West Indies. The photographer is looking from seaward towards a small hill densely wooded hill which has a cluster of buildings on it that are believed to be the barracks of the West Indian Regiment. A windsock is on a pole fitted to the tallest of the buildings. Two single storey stone-built buildings under pitched roofs are at the water's edge surrounded by tall, spindly palm trees.
