A slightly distant port bow view of motor lifeboat No. 12 from the Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) under way near the landing place in Castries harbour, St. Lucia, West Indies. She is fully laden with passengers. A rowing boat with C23 on the bow and a small sailing dinghy are in the harbour. Single storey wodd and corrugated iron buildings are on the wharf which is cluttered with an anchor, heavy chains, steel oil drums and two mooring buoys.
