Diving boys and their boats in Porto Grande harbour, St. Vincent (Sao Vicente), Cape Verde Islands.
A number of diving boys' rowing boats close to the side of an unidentified passenger cruise ship in Porto Grande Harbour, St. Vincent (Sao Vicente), Cape Verde Islands. The only part of the cruise ship in the picture is the starboard side of the hull aft. Most of the rowing boats have St. Vincent registrations, a crew of two and two diving boys. The nearest boat is registered SV.I.P. and is named Lilia. The steam tug Matiota (1929), seen from ahead of her port beam, is towing an unidentified steam vessel in the background. One of the cruise ship's motor lifeboats is in the left background.
