Diving boys and their boats in Porto Grande harbour, St. Vincent (Sao Vicente), Cape Verde Islands.
Diving boys and their rowing boats in Porto Grande Harbour, St. Vincent (Sao Vicente), Cape Verde Islands. The photographer is looking down on the boats from the deck of a cruise ship. There are four rowing boats and they have St. Vincent registrations on their bow, the boat in the centre being SV 41N and she has a man using a single oar to scull over the transom. The remaing three boats have two oarsmen in addition to the divers. Two of the boys are jumping into the water to retrieve coins thrown down by passengers on the cruise ship.
