An outrigger canoe off Apia, Upolu, Samoa. The photographer is on board the Cunard Line passenger cruise ship Franconia (1923) looking down on the canoe which has a single outrigger on the port side and is seen from fine off the starboard bow. One man is in the canoe and he is using a pointed paddle. A vertical format negative.
