The United States Lighthouse Service base at La Puntilla, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The photographer is looking north-east-by-north from a cruise ship in San Juan Bay showing the south-west side of the Lighthouse Service base. In the centre background is the Banco Comercial De Puerto Rico and the Hotel Palace. In the right background is the cable office building of the West India and Panama Telegraph Co. Ltd. and the Western Union Telegraph Company and inland of it are buildings with two lattice radio masts on them.
