A motor lifeboat from the Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) alongside a landing place at San Juan, Puerto Rico. The boat is seen from off her port quarter and passengers are being assisted to disembark while people on shore are throwing paper ribbons and confetti at the boat. The Calle Comercio is in the background and a Popular class passenger motor launch is alongside the quay on the right with the five storey cable office building of the West India and Panama Telegraph Co. Ltd. and the Western Union Telegraph Company beyond it.
