The photographer is on the centreline of the promenade deck aft looking aft and to starboard showing a few passengers sitting in deck chairs and standing by the ship's rail. A couple are playing quoits and a man walking along the deck has a number 76 label pinned to his lapel. The land is heavily wooded and on the left is a shoreline fortification.
