The photographer is on the poop looking forward and to starboard showing passengers lining the rail on the promenade deck Her aft boat is swung out ready for lowering. The island of Skeppsholmen is on the right and the Swedish Navy hulk Vanadis (1862), seen from off her port bow, is moored stern-on to the quay. She is a former ship rigged screw frigate.
