A starboard side view from the quay of the Russian auxiliary yacht Aurora motoring down the River Tyne, during the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in July 1993. The vessel has its name printed on its starboard side in red Russian lettering. Eight people are on board. The vessel's sails are furled and there are a number of flags on the mast. On the right hand side of the images is a partial view of the tug Dunheron (1955) underway up the river. The Balitc Flour Mill is visible in the background on the opposite bank on the right hand side of the photograph.
