Quayside view of the Thames barge Will (1925), a Dutch auxiliary schooner Tinesi and an unidentified Dutch yacht moored on the River Tyne during the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in July 1993

An elevated quayside view looking over the port bows of the Dutch auxiliary schooner Tinesi and an unidentified Dutch yacht moored on the River Tyne during the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in July 1993. Moored along the quay to their stern is the Thames barge Will (1925). A group of people are sitting on the upturned lifeboat on the foredeck of the unidentified Dutch yacht. Four people, including a man and woman in yellow jumpers, are sitting towards the aft end of the Tinsei on the starboard side. Beyond the stern of the Tinesi is the Thames barge Will with its name and port of registery "MALDON" on the stern. The Russian yacht Aurora is motoring down the River Tyne in the background. A unidentified Tyne Towage tug boat is underway on the river off the Aurora's port side. An array of moored vessels and a large group of people along the quayside, can be seen in the background on the right hand side of the image. The Tyne Bridge can be seen in the background.
