A general view of the Gamla Stan district of Stockholm, Sweden. The photographer is on board an unidentified cruise ship arriving in the Saltsjon. He is looking west from the starboard side forward showing the harbour tug Munin (1918) connected to the bow. The double-ended passenger steam launch Saltsjobaden I (fl. 1930) is under way in the harbour and other passenger ferries are alongside the Slusskajen and the south end of the Skeppsbrokajen, ioncluding the double-ended passenger launch Djurgarden 2 (fl. 1930). The steeple of the German Church is in the centre of the picture.
