The photographer is looking north from a boat showing the single arch concrete bridge which spans the Tranebergssund strait and connects the district of Kungsholmen to the western suburb of Bromma. A number of leisure craft are alongside a finger jetty in the foreground. Beyond the bridge is a large industrial complex with "Sandviks Lim" on it. The bridge was opened in 1934.
