Shipping alongside the wharves in the Sodermalm district at Stockholm, Sweden. The photographer is looking west from on board a vessel in the Saltsjon showing passenger ferries and cargo ships berthed alongside the Stadsgardshamnen. In the centre of the picture is the passenger steam launch Saltsjobaden I (fl. 1930) and next to it, seen from off her starboard quarter, is the Rederiaktieb Svea cargo ship Hugin (1924). The bridge connecting Sodermalm to Gamla Stan is on the right.
