A distant starboard side view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) anchored in a fjord in the Svartisen Glacier region in Norway, presumably in the Holandsfjord.
A distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) anchored in a fjord in the Svartisen Glacier region in Norway, presumably in the Holandsfjord. In the foreground there are a number of motor fishing vessels anchored offshore. One of these boats is registered N84L (fl. 1930) and has tree branches on deck and fitted to the stempost and the top of the foremast. She is seen from fine off her starboard bow. Another boat astern of N84L also has tree branches decorating its deck and masts. The land in the background is shrouded in mist.
