A starboard broadside view of the Archer class training craft Exploit (1988) inbound underway, and a Swedish schooner sailing outbound in Tynemouth harbour, taken during the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in July 1993 Exploit's pennant number "A-167" visible on the starboard bow. The two-masted schooner has a black painted hull and the various flying jibs and stay sails, and the two main sails on her fore and main masts are set. A Swedish ensign is flying from the top of the main mast. The South Shields Pier lighthouse can be seen in the background and a large group of people are standing on the pier. The photographer took the photograph over the heads of other spectators.
