Off its stern is the tug Flying Spindrift (1986) also bound out. A small fluorescent orange RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) is visible near the bottom of the image with nine people on board watching the ship leave. A variety of small craft can be seen moored on the left hand side of the image. South Shields Lighthouse and Pier are visible in the background. A partial view of the top of a person's heads and the Tynemouth Pier are visible in the foreground.
