Inside the harbour at Tangier, Morocco.

Inside the harbour at Tangier, Morocco. The photographer is on board a boat near the harbour entrance looking west showing a coastal steamship moored stern-on to the north breakwater. This vessel is seen from abaft her port beam, has the letters S over R on her black topped funnel and has HICF59L2 on her bow. Dumb lighters and two small steam tugs are alongside the wharf which has a variety of cranes and a single storey shed on it. On the west side of the harbour is a wharf with another single storey shed on it and a flight of steps leads up to a landing stage with people waiting on it. The Continental Hotel is on the low hill above the corner of the harbour.
