The harbour and shipping in the bay at Tangier, Morocco. The photographer is looking east from the old city wall protecting the north side of the Old Town showing the harbour on the right with the lighthouse on the end of the north breakwater. Shell oil storage tanks are in the centre of the picture. The new outer mole is on the left and a passenger/cargo ferry is berthed alongside it. At anchor out in the bay is a Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship of the Mont class. She is seen from well ahead of her port beam and is one of Montcalm (1921), Montrose (1922) or Montclare (1922).
