A large group of local people and cruise ship passengers and crew on a quayside at Port of Spain, Trinidad.
A large group of local people and cruise ship passengers and crew on a quayside at Port of Spain, Trinidad. The photographer is looking towards the shore from a boat in the harbour. The three storey building at the back of the quay has the date 1935 on the roof and in the centre of the building is a lookout position and clock tower, with the clock reading 08.32. A sign on the ground floor of the building refers to the Sailors Home and Men's Hostel at 27 Edward Street. A rowing boat is alongside the quay and a passenger launch is by the landing steps.
