The seafront and breakwater at Varna, Bulgaria. The photographer is on board a cruise ship offshore looking west-north-west showing the pleasure beach on the right and the harbour breakwater on the left. A passenger/cargo ship is just beyond the breakwater and other vessels are in the harbour. On top of the hill beyond the harbour is the Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral which was built in 1896.
