Passengers disembarking onto a crowded quayside from a passenger steamer in the harbour at Visby, Sweden
Passengers disembarking onto a crowded quayside from a passenger steamer in the harbour at Visby, Sweden. The photographer is on board the steamer looking along the ship's rail towards the gangplank. The quayside is packed with people who are looking at the disembarking passengers who are having to push through to get to a line of parked cars. It is probable that the crowd has gathered because one or more of the steamer's passengers are in the V.I.P. category. The building at the back of the quay on the right has "Solhem" and "Visby Cementfabrik" on it.
