Visby, Sweden, with a Cunard Line cruise ship anchored offshore.
Overlooking part of the city at Visby, Sweden, from an elevated vantage point. The photographer is inland looking approximately south-west over mixed residential and commercial buildings surrounded by trees. The ruin of a church or similar style of building is on the left with four gable walls standing and no roof, possibly the ruin of Sankt Goran (Saint George) church just outside the city walls. In the distance anchored offshore and seen from ahead of her starboard beam is a white liveried Cunard Line cruise ship, either Franconia (1923) or Carinthia (1925).
