Overlooking the city of Visby, Sweden.

Overlooking the city of Visby, Sweden. The photographer is looking south-west from high ground to the north-east of the city. On the left are some of the city walls and towers with the three distinctive towers of the Cathedral Saint Mary on the skyline. To the left of centre are the three gable walls of the ruin of St. Goran church. Anchored offshore on the right and seen from well ahead of her starboard beam is the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929). Her forward accommodation ladder is deployed.
