The city and harbour of Visby, Sweden. The photographer is on board a vessel beyond the harbour breakwater and is looking south-east. A few small vessels and schooners are partially hidden behind the breakwater. On the skyline in the centre of the picture is the city water tower erected in 1925. On the skyline on the left is a building with two steeples and a central gable which is now (2019) the Lansteatern in Bredgatan.
