Fishing botters berthed alongside the quay in the north-east corner of the harbour at Volendam on the Ijsselmeer, Netherlands. The boats are seen from ahead of the port beam and many are identified by their port registry, including VD.217, VD.91, VD.230, VD.76, VD.157, VD.193 and VD.172. Some of the boats have their nets suspended from the mast to dry. Premises on the Haven are displaying signs for "Fotograaf", "Amstel Bieren" and "Kodak". In the north-east corner is the Hotel Van Diepen and beyond it is the steeple of the Sint Vincentiuskerk.
