Fishing botters berthed in the north-east end of the harbour at Volendam on the Ijsselmeer, Netherlands. The boats alongside the Haven are seen from ahead of the port beam. The boats berthed alongside the Havendijkje are viewed from abaft the port beam and the boats alongside the breakwater are seen from fine off the port bow. Some of the boats can be identified by their port registry including VD.46, VD.161 and VD.164. A few of the boats have their nets suspended from the mast to dry. Premises on the Haven are displaying signs for "Amstel Bieren" and "Kodak". In the north-east corner is the Hotel Van Diepen and beyond it is the steeple of the Sint Vincentiuskerk.
