The Kasino Hotel terrace, seafront and pier at Zoppot, Free City of Danzig.

The Kasino Hotel terrace, seafront and pier at Zoppot, Free City of Danzig. Zoppot was part of the Free City of Danzig from 1920 to 1939. The photographer is looking east-south-east from an upper floor of the hotel showing people on the open air dance floor and sitting at the outside tables on the enclosed terrace. A large number of basket seats are scattered on the beach and each one has a low sand embankment round it. The seats are all numbered with a BZ letter prefix except for one which has W.H. on it. The long wooden pier is in the background.
