The wooden pier at Zoppot, Free City of Danzig. Zoppot was part of the Free City of Danzig from 1920 to 1939. The photographer is looking nortth-east-by-east fromthe top of the lighthouse showing the gardens at the shore end of the pier. The steamer jetty is at the end of the pier projecting to the south. Some of the many flags being flown are the German swastika.
