A distant view of an unidentified cruise ship's motor lifeboat exercising with a pulling lifeboat in open water. The photographer is on board the cruise ship looking aft showing the motor lifeboat, which has a crew of six, from off the port quarter as she heads away from the ship. The motor lifeboat has two masts; the forward one is laid down and the aft one is either being raised or lowered. The pulling lifeboat is under oars and there are seven men aboard, six rowing and one steering. All of the men are wearing lifejackets. Negative number P96181 was taken on the same occasion.
