An unidentified port, possibly in the mediterranean, containing a number of two masted schooners.
An unidentified port containing a number of two masted schooners at anchor or moored. Some of them are drying sails. Warehouses with pitched roofs line the waterfront and the majority of the buildings behind the waterfront are flat roofed and of substantial construction. A low hill is in the background and a two storey building with a large arched front opening and a dome on the roof is on the top of the hill in the centre of the picture. The style of buildings is indicative of a Mediterranean location.
