Unknown warship; bust of Vice Admiral Lord Nelson.
Scale: 1:48. A colour-washed plan showing the head and top of trail-board with a proposed figurehead for an unknown warship. The figurehead does not match with the known carvings of Nelson for HM ships Horatio (1807), Nelson (1814), Trafalgar (1820 and 1841), Vanguard (1835), or Nile (1839).
The figurehead is a bust of Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson, facing forward. He is wearing naval uniform and his bicorn hat has a large chelengk on the left side. Behind the bust are standards with unspecified flags draped over the scrollwork, and a spear, axe and musket with bayonet. The bust is supported by stylised foliage from the trail-board lower cheek and the head itself.
