Tables and chairs laid out on the poopdeck on board an unidentified cruise ship while under way at sea.

Tables and chairs laid out on the poop deck on board an unidentified cruise ship while under way at sea. The photographer is looking aft on the port side showing a large number of square tables laid out with wicker chairs and iron framed bench seats around them. A clinker built lifeboat number 18 is under her straight davits on the right. Two large windsail ventilators are rigged just ahead of two samson posts with a docking bridge slightly further aft. Passengers are sitting at seven of the tables. A vertical format negative. Marine Photo Service records list this negative as being taken on board the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) but this is definitely not one of the Orient Line 20,000 tonners.
