A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) just making way at Spithead as she approaches her anchorage in Line H for the Coronation Review of King George VI. Passengers and guests are crowding her rails. In the right background and seen from ahead of her port beam is the Cunard White Star Line passenger liner Aquitania (1914) which is dressed overall and is anchored in Line K. Dressed overall and also anchored in Line K, almost hidden behind the Otranto, is the Cunard White Star Line cruise ship Lancastria (1922). On the left is the stern of the the steam yacht Jeannette (1911) which is anchored off Motherbank and is also dressed overall.
