A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor off Ragusa/Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia. She has her port anchor deployed and two accommodation ladders are rigged, one to the main deck aft and one to a shell door aft of midships with a boat alongside it. The photographer is looking south-east-by-east from the harbour showing a number of open boats drawn up on the foreshore and the Kase breakwater in the middle ground. A vertical format negative.
