A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Swedish Navy coast defence battleship Sverige (1915) at anchor off Saltsjöbaden, Sweden. She has her starboard anchor deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to her quarterdeck. Some of her crew are parading on the quarterdeck. A steam pinnace is tied to the boat boom amidships. A stack of cylindrical objects is on her forecastle, possibly kitbags or they may be cordite cases or similar. Moored astern is her near sister Drottning Victoria (1917) and in the right background is the submarine depot ship Svea (1885).
