A full length portrait of a man in full Scottish highland dress and holding a set of bagpipes by the ship's rail on board the Anchor Line cruise ship Tuscania (1922) while the ship is under way at sea. The badge on his bonnet is a lion rampant. He is almost certainly a civilian piper rather than a military one and does not have a dirk in his sock. A vertical format negative.
